Shaping Culture through Cinema
The purpose of the Culture Shaping Through Cinema Seminar is to challenge ourselves as a community of faith to view movies intentionally and intelligently and through the grid of a Biblical worldview. We want to develop the skills to be able to discern and articulate exactly what we are seeing and how it reflects and affects the world around us--and also to become equipped to engage in the wider conversation with society that these films can provoke.Each Friday evening of the quarter, we will gather to screen and discuss films selected by guest speakers that are affecting and reflecting our societies today.
