School of Illustration

In this course students are trained by professional illustrators and staff in the commercial art fields such as: children's book illustration, animation, editorial computer design, magazine covers, packaging, medical illustration, movie posters and product illustration. Some topics covered are: drawing, composition, conceptual illustration, biblical foundations of the arts, color theory, portfolio development, perspective, painting techniques and freelance business. The school assists students in developing a marketable and professional artistic skill.DSP 211 & 212 and a portfolio review of five examples of the student's artwork.
