The school is designed with several objectives in mind: 1. To help students grow in their faith in God in the context of the city. 2. To give students the time to discover and understand the city; its identity, its culture and the ways in which it functions. We want our students to learn how to best serve it and thereby contribute to its transformation. 3. To give students time to be consistently involved in practically assisting ministries and community organizations operating in the city.  4. To permit students to better grasp and integrate the teaching of the DTS. Instead of twelve weeks of intensive classes usually at the beginning of the school, these courses will be spread out over six months |
