DTS stands for Discipleship Training School. Our goals over the 5-6 months of DTS is for you to develop a deep intimacy with God, to be raised up and prepared messengers to deliver the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who don''''t know Him. We want to equip and release young leaders who are hungry to see change in this world. This is an intensive training course which focuses on developing character and a complete dependence on God. DTS is divided into 2 different parts. The first part of DTS is called Lecture Phase, and is 12 weeks long. The second part of the school, the application of the lecture phase, is called Outreach, and is 8 to 10 weeks long. How can WE TRANSFORM the world? We believe that transformation occurs as we engage in strategic outreach activities. These strategic local outreaches will be part of what we call "Focus Tracks". Each international outreach will have lots of opportunities to apply what we''''ve learned during the local outreach phase. In other words, this DTS will cover the same teachings as a "regular" DTS; the only difference is that we will be more intentional in the outreach department. That''''s why we created several Focus Tracks for each of our schools. Focus Tracks will present the opportunity to use our God-given gifts and passions strategically. |
