Description: Endurance Discipleship Training School is an outdoor adventure-focused DTS. Endurance DTS combines all of the components of a DTS (Core curriculum, Biblical teaching, missions training, small groups, one on ones, etc) and layers an outdoor adventure curriculum on top of it. The school seeks to help students know God and make him known throughout the world, and specifically, within the outdoor industry. Our lecture phase consists of 8 weeks of lecture at the YWAM Montana base in traditional and outdoor classroom settings, 5 weeks of lecture in Montana’s backcountry and a 2-month backpacker/trekker focused outreach to the nations. The outdoor adventure curriculum will teach, train and challenge students through relevant outdoor skill building modules and excursions throughout the school.

The DTS is designed to encourage students in personal character development, cultivating their relationship with God and identifying their unique gifts and callings. Cross-cultural exposure and global awareness are special emphases throughout the course, preparing the students to evangelize and disciple current and future generations, answering the call to "Go into all the world and teach (make disciples of) all nations." (Matthew 28:19).

The DTS curriculum is in the following six major categories: God's nature and character; God's intention for individuals, peoples and nations; seeing all of life from God's perspective; redemption, sin, and the Cross; God's family - the Church; God's world - His call and commission; the ministries of YWAM.

Credit will be given for this course with satisfactory completion of DSP 212.
