Heart Connections Counseling Model III

A continuation of the "Heart Connections Counseling" Models 1 and 2. This module goes into a specific study of some of the more common psychological problems faced by people. The causal background, dynamics, and process of treatment will be the main emphases of the course. The training then moves into a study of the various types of abuse, including sexual, physical, verbal, and emotional abuse, with a special emphasis given to the counseling issues relevant to adults who were abused as children. Biblical counselors should be able to identify significant abuse indicators, understand the dynamics of abuse, and understand how to provide a caring and healing ministry.
